Dow Human Resources in the Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India (EMEAI) region comprises of multiple disciplines managing entire Employee Life cycle related activities. This role is in the Workforce Administration (WFA) discipline of HR function. WFA discipline primarily focuses on all the employee life cycle related activities starting from onboarding, managing employee data, life cycle changes, absence management and offboarding of all Dow employees. This role will support WFA activities for few countries within EMEAI.

This role enables a best-in-class employee experience through exceptional subject matter expertise, consultation, and service delivery in the areas of WFA. This includes the management, implementation, and delivery of innovative solutions specific to WFA. Receives instructions, guidance, and direction from more senior level roles to provide expertise to triage and managing employee life cycle activities for the respective Dow locations.

  • Processes all employee lifecycle (Onboarding, Job changes, Personal Data changes, Reporting and Terminations) related transactions from onboarding to separation in online or offline platform.
  • Acts as primary point-of-contact for workforce administration inquiries (via phone, chat, and eRequest), identifying and delivering solutions to employees and People Leaders.
  • Delegates and escalates queries as appropriate, but remains responsible through completion
  • Tracks progress, and provides continuous feedback to requestors on status of their queries
  • Engage in improving Service Now Knowledge Base and Case Management content for their assigned discipline, based on experience
  • Supports oversight of service operations by responding to service demands as they arise (e.g., volume of calls, staff absence, chat and eRequest queries, etc.)
  • Engages in and drives overall continuous improvement processes (e.g., to reduce inquiry volume)

At €0.19 per kilometre (max. 75 kilometres one way) and, if applicable, you will be reimbursed for the Westerscheldetunnel passages at a T-tag rate. You will need to purchase the T-tag yourself.

The requirements for this role are as follows:

  • Ability to work in matrix organization with multiple stakeholders independently.

  • Collaborative and innovative mindset.

  • Ability to work on cross discipline projects.

  • Technical Skills: Can work fluently with multiple technology platforms, strong command over MS-Office

  • Knowledge of HR practices / conditions would be an added advantage.

  • Fluent in English & German

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher
