MECHANICAL ENGINEER FOR ZEELAND REFINERY
We are looking for a mechanical engineer for a project until 2014 at Zeeland Refinery.

Functie omschrijving
The instrument project engineer will have the following tasks:
- Technical
- Design of burner safeguarding safety interlock of fired heaters incl. integration in existing interlock systems
- Design of control functions related to fired heaters
- Conceptual design of instrumentation part of projects
- Estimation of instrumentation works and co-ordination with other disciplines
- Completion of PFD’s and P&ID’s with assistance of Process Engineering and Production department
- Scope definition of the detailed engineering
- Supervision of engineering contractors
- Review of engineering documents in co-ordination with Production and Maintenance department
- Creation of technical specifications for procurement especially for Safety PLC’s
- Calculation of control valves / flow orifices etc.
- Participation in HAZOP / safety studies
- Subcontracting of construction works
- Bid evaluation
- Co-ordination with the field supervisors
- Project management
- Scheduling
- Progress control
- Cost control
A refinery has a wide variety of instrumentation technology. The following type of equipment is mainly involved:
- DCS (Invensys I/A Foxboro)
- Safety PLC (FSC and SMS Honeywell PLC's)
- (Ex-proof) field instrumentation and control valves
Functie eisen
The mechanical project engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Education: HTS (High Technical School) Mechanical
- Minimal 5 year experience in a refinery or in the process industry
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Dutch
- Team-player
- VVA certificate
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
We offer a job during a project until 2014, salary accourding to the market, collective health insurance and travel expenses.
